My name is Mathusanthi. I was born in Sri Lanka in 1991. I am Hindu. In our country everyone wear only skirt and blouse. Our religion is Hinduism. On Fridays and Tuesdays most Hind people go to temple and pray. That's the special day to Hindus.
Sri Lanka is a bit small country. In our country schools are small and there are less people. There are no traffic on roads. Some people have cars. Most people have motorcycle or bicycle. Sri Lankan houses look nice and more space between houses. Sri Lankan people always eat Indian food like pitta, vadi, somosa, idli. The main food is rice and curry.
The main job is farming. The capital of Sri Lanka is Colombo. I lived in Jaffna. This is a part of Sri Lanka.
When I came to England, I thought Newham wouldn’t have Tamil shops or Hindu temples but here there’s lots of temples and shops. In the Tamil shop we can get all Indian foods and things. My favourite part of Newham is the school and shopping. Because there are big schools. They help to learn more. Here are more shops in the High Street.
Newham and Sri Lanka have lots of different things. I like England because there are good technology and education. I like Sri Lanka too because in Sri Lanka have good weather.
