Hinduism has been one of the oldest religions in the world, there is no individual founder. According to the Hindu calendar this year (2004) might be 2062. There are three most important sacred texts, they are:
Vedas
Ramayana
Mahabharata

In a recent research on Hinduism, I have found that there are more or less than 700 million Hindus in India and about 15 to 20 million Hindus elsewhere. The Hindu Religion is India's dominant religion.

Where Sanskrit (language) came from.

Long time ago Aryans, known as the ‘Noble People’, came to India from the North, Along with them they brought there language known as ‘Sanskrit’. Sanskrit is related to Greek, (maybe) Latin’s and other Indo - European languages, this language became the sacred language of Hinduism. They are the ones who brought other Vedic texts, a roll of sacred songs like RIG VEDA, or/and songs of knowledge, these also became sacred to Hinduism. Rig Veda is full of Hymns, basically saying there might be thousand and thousands of them, these hymns features several dozen gods. Most people thought that Aryans were invaders. But now people who recently went on a trip to India have found that Aryan’s weren’t invaders they were only indigenous people. Brahmins are also Aryan priests, the are great prestige’s.
